1. I too am an affiliate marketer. I've been in affiliate marketing for a few years promoting everything from security cameras to home appliances.
2. I struggled with the traditional methods of affiliate marketing. Like everyone else, I went the traditional route. I started blogging, and created YouTube channels.
If you've watched any videos on affiliate marketing, most will tell you to grab your links and promote them on your blog, or start a YouTube channel. I, and others like me, fight an uphill battle trying to gain traction in a competitive market. I didn't have money for ads, so it resulted in me uploading videos EVERY. SINGLE. DAY with no success.
Also, it takes 6 months or longer to rank in search engines. You either have to write 3,000-word articles, or find keywords that no one is writing about. When you do find that unicorn, 2 things happen: 1. the search engines change the algorithm. Or 2. A large website writes for the same keywords.
